Audubon Society Fundraiser

Char & Tony Mandarich were the guests of David Calvin, founder & president of Paradise Earth, at the Audubon Society Fundraiser held in Scottsdale, Arizona on June 21st. The event was a wonderful opportunity to meet many Arizona bird enthusiasts and share information about the Paradise Earth Rainforest Project. "The Audubon Society is going to really benefit from the Paradise Earth Rainforest Project," said Mr. Calvin. "We are anticipating that they will be able to use the Habitat and its Conference Center as another venue to spread their message of Conservation & Education."

The highlight of the evening was an impromptu meeting with Audubon Arizona Vice President & Executive Director Sam Campana (former mayor of Scottsdale) and Associate Director Sarah Ellison Porter. David Calvin was so impressed with the mission of Audubon Arizona that he gave a $1000 donation to their campaign on behalf of Paradise Earth. We applaud the genuine efforts of The Audubon Society, Paradise Earth, and David Calvin, and we are honored to be associated with the Paradise Earth Rainforest Project!
